IT'S A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGERS

THE JARVIS CONSERVATORY in Napa, California, offers a unique venue for Bay Area singers the first Saturday of every month -- IT'S A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGERS.

These events are regularly hosted, narrated, and accompanied by internationally-known composer, coach, and pianist Richard B. Evans, who divides his time between the West Coast and New York City.

Each program features wonderful and exciting professional vocalists as well as the most promising professional talent of tomorrow. Singers from all over the San Francisco Bay Area perform excerpts from opera, musical theatre, cabaret, and zarauela -- a panoply of well-loved musical favorites as well as delightful surprises from the lesser known repertoire.

IT S A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGERS continues the first Saturday of every month at 8pm at the Jarvis Conservatory located at 1711 Main Street in historic downtown Napa. Audience tickets are $15 and available at the box office beginning at 7pm, with doors opening for General Seating at 7:30pm.

Every singer or vocal ensemble accepted to perform will receive a small honorarium. In addition, singers currently enrolled in a Music Program at a college, junior college, or university will be offered the opportunity to compete for the monthly cash Encouragement Prize offered by the Jarvis Conservatory.

One singer at each event might also have the opportunity to participate in a short on-stage Master Class coaching session with Maestro Evans, who was named California's Statewide Outstanding Professor before he left the California State University System to pursue his current career composing Broadway musicals.

Professional, amateur, and student singers interested in applying to participate should EMAIL an application to Vlad Ponomarov (vladponomarov@gmail.com) at the Jarvis Conservatory not less than TWO WEEKS PRIOR to each monthly event. Phone (707) 255-5445.
